Professional Training & Consulting

Advanced Integrative Therapy Training

“My training method can be summarized in four words:  Tell, Show, Do, Apply.  First tell the trainees what they need to know, then show them what they need to be able to do by demonstrating each skill, then have them practice the skills with supportive feedback.”

Tony Roffers

Dr. Roffers trains practitioners in Advanced Integrative Therapy throughout the United States.  He currently teaches the introductory Basic Seminar, Mastering AIT Practice Seminar, the Presence & Dissociation Seminar, Sensitivities Seminar, and the Detoxification & Nutrition Seminar.  For further information on these seminars and the training schedule log on to   www.aitherapy.org

Advanced Integrative Therapy Consultation

“The whole point of training someone is to help them transfer the skills they learned in the training setting to their clients back home.  Advanced Integrative Therapy consultation provides small group and individual feedback on actual cases practitioners present as they learn how to apply their new skills.”

Tony Roffers

Dr. Roffers leads small group teleconsultation sessions following his seminars as well as private consultations for individuals.

Mediation Training

“Demonstrating that you accurately and deeply understand someone with whom you disagree proves extremely difficult for most of us, yet it is key to the successful resolution of conflict.”

Tony Roffers

If parties to a dispute cannot resolve their differences in a way that reestablishes rapport (see Couples Counseling), they may decide to end their relationship.  Rather than hiring attorneys to represent them in an adversarial environment, couples have one more opportunity to learn from their differences and grow individually by seeking a mediator who can guide them in a more collaborative process to end their relationship fairly and respectfully, a particularly important process when the couple will remain co-parenting children, or when parties have to continue to relate to one another for future business or family purposes.
